What You Need to Know

How should you prepare for your class?

1. Fill out your waiver

To make your check-in process smoother, fill out your waiver before you arrive. You can find that online by clicking the button below.

2. Bring your equipment

We have water, yoga mats and other equipment available for use at the studio. But if you have them, you'll want to bring your own water bottle and yoga mat or dance shoes. ​​

Studio Attire

What to Wear to Class

Not sure how to dress for your upcoming class at BA Studios? Check out our guide below.

Fitness

We recommend movable and breathable athletic wear for our adult fitness classes. Go barefoot or wear grippy socks. Bring your own yoga mat & water bottle. Yoga mats and other equipment are available to borrow for class.

 

Ballet

Girls:

  • Wear a leotard and pink ballet tights (no undergarments).

  • Pink or nude ballet flats are required. Canvas ballet flats are preferred over leather.

  • Hair must be secured in a bun, and large or dangly jewelry should not be worn for the safety of the dancer.​

  • Ballet III/IV: Dancers many wear leg warmers, skirts, or other tight fitting warm ups.

  • Adult Ballet Women: Dancers (18+) may wear form fitting athletic wear.​

Boys: 

  • Wear a fitted solid-colored t-shirt, and black tights, shorts, or athletic pants. Black ballet flats are required.​

  • Ballet III/IV: ​Dancers may wear tight fitting warm ups. 

  • Adult Ballet Men: Dancers (18+) may wear form fitting athletic wear.

Hip Hop, Jazz & Contemporary

We require movable and breathable athletic wear for all of our hip-hop classes.

  • No dresses or skirts.

  • Comfortable shorts or pants, and a solid colored tank top or t-shirt.

  • Hats and jackets are optional. 

  • Large or dangly jewelry should not be worn for the safety of the dancer.

  • ​Hip Hop: NEW white sneakers are required, to be worn only in the studio.

  • Jazz: Tan jazz shoes are required.​

 

Preschool Dance

We require any pink or black ballet leotards and pink ballet tights.

  • Ballet shoes are required (leather or canvas).

  • Attached ballet skirts are optional.

Baby Ballet/Mini Movers

Our little movers may wear any attire they can comfortable play and dance around in. Ballet shoes or grippy socks are required.​​
