The BA Team

Bri Ahlers
Founder & Director
Bri took her first ballet class when she was three years old and hasn't stopped dancing since. She began assisting and teaching dance classes at 14 and thus developed her love for teaching. Over the years she has had the privilege to study with over twelve different dance companies including the American Ballet Theater and the University of Arizona School of Dance. Bri received her teaching and dance degree at the University of Arizona and has been working with children for the last six years. She has danced on just about every stage in Tucson and taught dance at five local elementary schools. Bri later received her CPT from NCSF and GFI certification from ACE to teach classes to adults. Bri believes the art of dance and fitness improves your health, promotes strength, confidence, self-expression, and overall well-being.
Mandy Betz
Ballet & Jazz Instructor
Amanda (Mandy) Betz has been dancing since she was 6 years old, when she began studying ballet at a pre-professional ballet studio. Over nearly 15 years of dancing and a handful of studios, she pursued other styles such as jazz, contemporary (and for a brief stint, tap!), was the lead soloist in productions of Nutcracker and a ballet adaptation of The Little Mermaid and performed at events all around Tucson. While studying journalism and public relations at the University of Arizona, she began teaching kickboxing and discovered her true love for fitness. She believes in the importance of fitness in living a healthy, happy and confident life and is excited to help you find your own love for being active.
