Bri Ahlers

Founder & Director

Bri took her first ballet class when she was three years old and hasn't stopped dancing since. She began assisting and teaching dance classes at 14 and thus developed her love for teaching. Over the years she has had the privilege to study with over twelve different dance companies including the American Ballet Theater and the University of Arizona School of Dance. Bri received her teaching and dance degree at the University of Arizona and has been working with children for the last seven years. She has danced on just about every stage in Tucson and taught dance at five local elementary schools. Bri later received her CPT from NCSF and GFI certification from ACE to teach classes to adults. Bri believes the art of dance and fitness improves your health, promotes strength, confidence, self-expression, and overall well-being.

Mandy Betz

Ballet & Jazz Instructor

Amanda (Mandy) Betz has been dancing since she was 6 years old, when she began studying ballet at a pre-professional ballet studio. Over nearly 15 years of dancing and a handful of studios, she pursued other styles such as jazz, contemporary (and for a brief stint, tap!), was the lead soloist in productions of Nutcracker and a ballet adaptation of The Little Mermaid and performed at events all around Tucson. While studying journalism and public relations at the University of Arizona, she began teaching kickboxing and discovered her true love for fitness. She believes in the importance of fitness in living a healthy, happy and confident life and is excited to help you find your own love for being active.

Alan Vincent

Alan is originally from Tucson, Arizona, but was raised in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. As someone who grew up in a border town, Alan gained the perspective to develop art from two different and contrasting countries. Since childhood, he has found a strong passion for art in all aspects. During high school, Alan created extracurricular drawing and painting classes for his school in Mexico. He then added dance classes that later became the official "Grupo de Danza" of his school. While still in high school, he started performing for EXNO Dance, where he was the coordinator and choreographer of the group at Nogales, Sonora. During the same period of time, he found his passion for photography and the digital graphic arts. Alan has been recognized several times as a leader and promoter of the culture of art and dance in Nogales, Arizona/ Sonora and Tucson.

Alan continued to further his art and dance education at Pima Community College where he collaborated directly with the director of the dance department, Aurora Goncalves-Shaner. Alan became a dancer in Artifact Dance Project (ADP), directed by Ashley Bowman and Claire Hancock  for “The Great American Dance Tour '' in China. After Alan’s participation in ADP, he was hired to work for Kim Robard's dance company in Denver, Colorado as a full-time company member during 2012-2013 season. Gonzalez had the opportunity to work with contemporary ballet choreographer David Taylor and his company Zikr in Denver, Colorado. Alan was accepted into The University of Arizona dance program in the fall 2014 and  he was part of the cast for "The Unsung" by Jose Limon and traveled to NYC to perform in the Jose Limon International Dance Festival 70th Anniversary at the Joyce Theater in the fall of 2015. During his last year at the University, Alan was cast to perform Ohad Naharin master pieces. Alan has managed to be a dedicated artist, dancer, painter, photographer, interior designer, graphic designer and a Pilates instructor for the last 10 years. Alan is excited to be back and work with BA Studios.

Sara Molera

Barre Instructor

Sara has a passion for dance and fitness. She’s been developing dance routines as a hobby since childhood. Little did she know, she’d be teaching as an adult using the same inspiration she had as a child.

Sara found her love for barre and began teaching in 2019. She is encouraged by the community that comes together when teaching. Sara believes in the power of the mind and connection during group fitness classes. She sets the example for students to show up to class for themselves and build strength, confidence, and connections throughout their fitness journey. Sara wants to empower others to find their passion and embrace their enthusiasm.

Sara loves music and is inspired to build routines from the beat of the music using a variety of genres. She enjoys bringing out her Latina culture in her routines.
