More Than a Studio: Why We're BA "Studios"

When you hear BA Studios, you might think of us as just a dance studio, or maybe just a fitness center. And while we certainly offer fantastic classes in both those areas, we chose the name BA Studios for a very intentional reason: we're about so much more than just a single activity.

We don't just host classes; we host experiences. We don't just have a room with a mirror; we have a versatile space that transforms to fit the community's creative and celebratory needs.

Here's a peek into why the 's' in Studios is so important to us:

At BA Studios, We Do So Much More

The term "studio," at its core, refers to a room where an artist works. At BA, every person who walks through our doors is an artist. Whether they're mastering a ballet step, curating the perfect event, or preparing for one of our big productions.

By using the plural, studios, we acknowledge that our physical space is actually many different spaces, hosting a multitude of activities and intentions:

The Ballroom: For couples preparing for their First Dance on their wedding day, turning wedding nerves into romantic confidence.
The Social Hall: For a charming Tea Party, Luau, Bridal or Birthday celebration complete with delicate treats and good conversation.
The Cinema: For our casual and fun Movie Nights, where the pillows and blankets come out, and the popcorn is popped.

A Photobooth: For our clients to capture their perfect move, or a chance to show off our next production with a full photo session.
The Stage: For our performers, young and old, to challenge and push themselves to prepare to get on stage for our large productions.
A Toddler Play Place: For our new moms and dads looking for place to meet other parents and let their little ones dance and get their wiggles out.
A Safe Space: For our incredibly popular Burlesque Girl's Only Dance classes, where friends come to own their confidence, laugh, and sweat.
The Sanctuary: For traditional dance and fitness classes, where focus, technique, and energy are paramount.

We're Your Community Hub, Not Just Your Class Schedule

The decision to call ourselves BA Studios reflects a commitment to being a community hub. We intentionally built a place that could serve a wider purpose than just a typical class schedule. When you think of BA, we want you to think of a unique venue for literally ANYTHING, a place to be yourself and try new things, and a chance at a new and loving community of people.

So, the next time you see our name, remember that the 'studios' meaning is loud and clear: We are a dynamic, versatile, and welcoming place for all your creative, movement, and celebratory needs.
